Review: Ledges – The Sun, The Stars, The Moon and me.

Anthony & Stephen aka Ledges brings us a collection of their favorite tracks and re-records them for their release The Sun, The Stars, The Moon and me. A mixture of beautiful electronic sounds with soothing vocals, the perfect combination of chill vibes.

There is nothing fancy about this record but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s straight to the point with it’s identity. An eight-track album full of downtempo synthpop that gives us a smooth ride all the way through.

I can’t help to play this record as I write or work. It calms me and has my head bobbing at all times. The production is stellar. The vocals remind me of the likes of M83.

Chores is the best jam on the record. It’s the soundtrack to a late night summer drive down Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles. Top-down, the breeze blowing through your hair and enjoying your time being alive.

Sit back and relax, because The Sun, The Stars, The Moon and me is a perfect addition to your electronic music collection.
